What is my case worth?

 

     At the outset of the case, we frequently are not able to properly answer this question, because the answer generally depends upon things such as the nature and extent of your injuries; how painful your injuries are; what you have to go through in order to recover from your injuries; how long it takes to recover; whether your injuries are permanent; and whether you have medical expenses or lost wages that we can claim on your behalf.  Some of these items can be added up mathematically, but the bulk of items are subjective.  Recovering money damages if also dependent upon proving that someone acted improperly to cause your injuries.  Ultimately, we try to predict what a jury might award in damages, and if the insurance company offers that amount in settlement, your case will settle.  If not, we are experienced trial lawyers who are prepared to have your case decided by a jury.  Statistically, most cases do settle without a trial.  However, we always prepare from Day One to take the case to trial, because that is the leverage we have to make the insurers settle--they know they must either pay a fair amount or face a jury.  Allow us to use our experience, skill, and imagination to present the strongest possible case to obtain the most amount of money the law will allow.
